Tax the rich backfires in Connecticut

Fox Business: Varney & Co on Connecticut’s dismal failure to boost tax revenue, by soaking the rich

Four times in U.S. history, major federal tax cuts on the rich were tried and in every one of those cases, tax revenue increased. That’s right. In every cases, where tax cuts on the rich were tried, revenue increased.

By contrast, we now have Connecticut, trying to soak the rich and seeing serious revenue shortfalls, as a result. Will liberals ever learn?

It’s the rich, who pay the vast majority of all taxes, to begin with. Try to soak the rich, and they’ll just leave.

If you think otherwise, then you really need to read, “The Rich Don’t Pay Tax! …Or Do They?

WATCH THIS VIDEO!… EXCELLENT!

It’s refreshing and frankly, somewhat amazing, to hear such truth and un-distorted facts coming from a UCLA professor.

All that I can think of is that he must be UCLA’s token smart professor.

Thank you Professor Ohanian.

By the way, if you’ve read “The Rich Don’t Pay Tax! …Or Do They?”, you’ve heard all this before. It’s just a different approach to saying the same thing. The book just goes into much more detail and includes references to lots of impeccable sources, along with references to IRS data, which I’ll grant, most people would not consider to be impeccable or even reputable. But the point is that the numbers cited in the above video and in the book are based on solid, irrefutable data. If you haven’t read the book, then order it now and check out those sources.
